About the event
On Point distributes supplies to the unsheltered across San Diego County, and we need your help to reach everyone! Our volunteer training program is designed to on-board volunteers and teach them the skills they need to hit the streets with our team. The course covers the importance and principles of harm reduction, proper attire and streeet etiquette, overdose response, safety skills, data collection techniques and standard operating protocols for performing outreach with On Point. This course is mandatory for all new volunteers prior to attending an outreach function with On Point.
